Places to see:
Rathaus (Town Hall), there is now an open air opera festival, every evening. You can get the programme from the hotel. It is nice to have dinner there, they have international + Austrian food.
2. Schönbrunn: it has a very nice park and zoo.
3. Belevedere: a nice park and the Gustav Klimt paintings in its gallery.
4. Walking area: Stefansdom, Kärtnerstraße, Graben...discover the nice little streets.
5. Grinzing: taverna area, nice for dinner, around 18-19h. Try before to go up to the mountain, Kahlenberg. A bus takes you from there. Kahlenberg is like our Harissa, it overlooks Vienna.
6. Donauinsel, nice restaurants and walking place
7. Prater (the Big Wheel), Metro Line U1, direction: Leopoldau, station: Praterstern.
8. Opera house, check the programme
9. Spanish raiding school: every sunday at 11, valse music with the white horses dancing valse. Should get tickets early.

Museums: Cultural Tour
1. The two biggest museums on the Ring, near the Hofburg, History of the Art museum and Natural Sciences museum. Visit the one you like.
2. Albertina, paintings
3. Hundertwasser Haus, exhibition and a nice restaurant, similar to Gaudi in Spain.

Food: Taste Vienna
1. Figlmüller, for the typical Viennese Schnitzel (escalope), behind Stefansdom
2. Rainthaler, near the Albertina
3. Coffee houses, traditional and famous: Demel near the Michaelertor, Cafe Central in the Herrengasse, Landtmann opposite the Rathaus

Music: Musical Vienna
1. Concerts:
check the programme in the Musikverein (classic) and the Konzerthaus (jazz). They are the best music halls.
2. Religious: every Sunday morning at the Jesuitenkirche at 10.30 or the Augustinerkirche at 11h. Check their respective programme.
Check also the programme at the Stefansdom.
Just before the Jesuitenkirche, there is a house where Calvin lived.

Shopping:
Mariahilferstraße, shopping area, get there by Metro, Line U3, direction Ottakring, station: Neubaugasse.
There is a shopping center called P&C, very good for all the family.
